Scientific Advisor

Prof. Mark Ledwidge is a distinguished figure in the pharmaceutical realm, spanning both academia and industry.  With a background in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutics, Prof. Ledwidge has had pivotal roles at Baxter Healthcare and Servier Laboratories.  Prof. Ledwidge has extensive commercialisation experience through his present roles as co-Founder and Director of the Heartbeat Trust, H&L Pharma, and Solvotrin Therapeutics. Within his academic role as UCD Professor in the School of Medicine at University College Dublin, he supported the co-development of 5-aza as an innovative treatment for heart disease.
